I strive to produce professional, personalized and creative images for most any occasion. I love what I do and have been doing it for over a decade. Although having a passion for your profession is important, having the skills and tools for your profession are of utmost importance as well. I'm lucky. Every day I do what I love to do. One reason for that is I know what I'm doing! No weekend warrior here- I'm a full time, insured photographer who relies on referrals for my next client. That means EVERY client has to be satisfied 100%. I guarantee it.

Professional

As a graduate from the prestigious Art Institute of Colorado, I received my Associate of Applied Science degree in Photography in 1999 with best portfolio in my class, along with several other awards and honors. I also hold an Associate of Art degree. The main focus of my studies were Editorial and Commercial photography. I continue to bring my unique style to all photographic projects that I undertake. I am fully insured and a member of the Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers.

Personalised

I grew up in the Midwest, a high school graduate of Interlochen Arts Academy. I decided not to go to college right away, but rather to live life a little differently from my peers. I lived for many years in southern states, including Florida and North Carolina. I tried many different professions, from managing a shoe store to taking reservations for a major airline, from waiting tables to working in a photo lab. Eventually I landed in beautiful Colorado and decided I never wanted to leave. I went to school, joined the American Society for Media Photographers and started my own business. Several years ago, I met and married my husband, Steven. The opportunity presented itself for us to live and work in Somerset, United Kingdom. For us, it is an opportunity for an adventure. Our wedding vows are based on the promise that we will make our lives the journey we both dream of, to the best of our ability. Although I said I’d never leave Colorado, well, never say never! Now based in Essex, we love it here and plan to stay for many years to come. Now a member of the Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers, I see each wedding as if it were my first! Creative

Becoming a photographer was not something I grew up knowing; not the familiar story of how someone gave me a great little camera when I was a kid, and I’ve been taking pictures ever since. No, it happened quite differently than that. It happened rather slowly, and there was no epiphany that I can recall. Like anything that I really set my mind to, I sunk my teeth in to it and applied what I love the most to my work. I love working with people and animals. I love looking at things from a different point of view, a different angle. I love energy, emotion, and the spirit of the moment…
